Pertamina's Managing Director Supports The Direction Of The 10 Percent Etanol Mixed Mandatory Government For Fuel

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Pertamina Simon Aloysius was seen present at the State Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, October 17. According to Simon, his presence was to provide a report related to several things to President Prabowo Subianto.

To reporters, Simon Aloysius expressed his support for government directives regarding mandatory 10 percent ethanol (E10) mixture for fuel. Because according to him, this is done to reduce karnon emissions and depend on fuel imports.

Simon gave an example, in Brazil the mix is 100 percent mandatory and in some countries it has reached 20 percent.

Regarding the objection of private gas stations that objected to the ethanol mixture for Simon Aloysius' base fuel, it was still being discussed and negotiated with the private gas station.
