JCI Was Opened Tuesday, Gaining 0.21 Percent To 4,522.64 Levels
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) opened higher on trading Tuesday, April 28. JCI rose 0.21 percent or 9.50 points to the level of 4,522.64.
Opening the trade, 51 stocks rose, 23 stocks fell, and 46 stocks remained stagnant. The trading volume was recorded at 75.45 million shares and was transacted for IDR 22.60 billion.
Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia analyst Lanjar Nafi estimates that the JCI today will move higher although it is limited. Technically, the support and resistance area for today is between 4,441 and 4,588.
Meanwhile, today's trade sentiment came from the announcement of policies of several world central banks in dealing with the corona virus pandemic or COVID-19.
"As well as several major economies will release gross domestic product (GDP) figures," said Lanjar.
Stocks that can be monitored technically include PT Adaro Energy (ADRO), PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk (ANTM), PT Astra International (ASII), PT Bumi Serpong Damai (BSDE), PT Lippo Karawaci (LPKR) , and Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM).
This morning, stocks that were among the top gainers, including PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) which rose 5.93 percent to Rp143, PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF) which rose 4.07 percent to Rp179, and PT Bumi Benowo Sukses Sejahtera Tbk (BBSS) which strengthened 3.82 percent to IDR163.
Meanwhile, stocks that were among the top losers included PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS) which fell 6.83 percent to Rp150, PT Bima Sakti Pertiwi Tbk (PAMG) which fell 6.33 percent to Rp74, and PT Bank Regional Development of West Java and Banten Tbk (BJBR) which weakened 4.09 percent to Rp820.
