Komdigi Issues SE Collection Of National Digital Talent Training Data
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has issued a Circular (SE) of the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Number 5 of 2025 concerning Requests for Data on the Training and Certification Program for Competency in the Digital Sector.
This Circular instructs the collection of training data from various parties, ranging from global technology companies, training and certification institutions, local and international edutech, to ministries and institutions at the central and regional levels.
Along with the issuance of this SE, the Deputy Minister of Communication and Digo, Nezar Patria, also held the Komdigi Digital Talent Forum which was intended to get a big picture, solid data on digital talent training programs took place.
"We will see, we will map it out, and later there will be one direction to further sharpen, make it more efficient, optimizing digital talent training programs in Indonesia," said Nezar on Friday, October 17 at the Komdigi office, Jakarta.
This is in line with the government's target to create 9 million Indonesian digital talents by 2030, especially in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, IoT, cryptography, and cybersecurity.

Through this synergy, Nezar hopes that Komdigi can collect data from industry, to get a more accurate picture on the supply and demand side or the demand side.
"We hope that later in 2030, our digital talent will be better prepared. Thus we can match or convey the demand," said Nezar further.
With integrated training data, Nezar added, it will be easier for the public to access relevant training information, and the government can map industrial needs more accurately.
