Four Airports In Canada And US Hacked, Donald Trump's Criticist
JAKARTA - Four three airports in Canada and one in the United States experienced cyberattacks, in which hackers managed to gain access to loudspeakers, and broadcast a message criticizing Donald Trump.
Kelowna Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) or the Canadian Kelowna Royal Police stated that Kelowna International Airport in British Columbia had been compromised and shared unauthorized content.
Therefore, RCMP said it was investigating the hack with other institutions and declined to provide further details.
Based on a Reuters report from the Airport Spokesperson, hackers broadcast messages in foreign languages and music through the PA system at Victoria International Airport at British Columbia.
The hackers said they managed to break into third-party software to access the PA system, and the airport switched to an internal system to regain control of the system.
In addition, hackers also broke into the flight information screen and public announcement system on Tuesday night at Windsor International Airport in Ontario.

The breach occurred in cloud-based software providers used by airports, and "Our system returns to normal as soon as possible," the airport said in a statement.
To date, Canada's Cybersecurity Center has helped airports and RCMPs in its investigation and there are no further details on the attack.
