QRIS DANA Present At Indomaret, Supports Wider Non-Cash Transactions

JAKARTA - DANA's digital wallet announced its collaboration with Indomaret. Where Indomaret customers in all branches in Indonesia can now pay for their daily expenses using QRIS in the DANA application.

This new capability also complements the features that were previously available in, such as the balance refill and cash withdrawal of the DANA balance. For Indomaret, QRIS integration in the DANA application is expected to expand the free, easy, and efficient non-cash payment option.

"We want the public to be able to rely on funds as an integrated payment solution when shopping at Indomaret," said VP of Merchant Strategy DANA Indonesia, Luqman Ibnu in his statement.

To make payments, customers who shop at Indomaret simply open the DANA application, and select the 'Show QRIS' menu.

Furthermore, customers can show the QRIS display that appears on the screen to the cashier to be scanned. Transactions will then be processed immediately in real-time.

"Collaboration with this FUND is a tangible form of our commitment to expanding the digital payment ecosystem throughout the Indomaret network," added Bastari Akmal, Marketing Communication Executive Director of PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret).

The addition of capability also emphasizes the role of DANA and Indomaret in supporting digital financial inclusion in Indonesia. Through QRIS integration, the two companies hope to encourage more people to switch to safer, easier, and more comfortable non-cash transactions.
