Maxus Handover Mifa 7 And Mifa 9 The First Local Production In Indonesia
JAKARTA - The Maxus brand from China under the auspices of the Indomobil Group handed over the first batch of its newest units, namely Mifa 7 and Mifa 9 local productions, to customers.
This step is a new milestone for Maxus in strengthening commitments in the Indonesian automotive market, as well as presenting a premium MPV according to the needs of the community.
Chief Operating Officer of PT Indomobil Energi Baru, Maxus' Singles Brand Holder Agent (ATPM) at Indonesia, Yudhy Tan, said he was very proud to be able to hand over the first batch of MIFA 7 and MIFA 9 domestically produced to customers in Indonesia.
"This is not just a product launch, but a clear proof of our long-term commitment to ensuring sustainable customer satisfaction, where every unit that consumers receive always meets the highest standards of quality, security, and comfort and is supported by solid full-sale services," he said, in an official statement received on Thursday, October 16.
As is known, Maxus has been officially registered in the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle (KBLBB) program and started domestic production since July 2025, with the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) reaching 40 percent according to government regulations.
By being produced locally, the Chinese brand can now reach Indonesian consumers more widely with a unitary supply that is more responsive to market demand and strengthens full-sale services, especially in the availability of spare parts.
