The Mystery Of The '2 S' Figure Who Controls The Indonesian National Team, Andre Rosiade: One Woman, One Moroccon
JAKARTA - After the failure of the Indonesian national team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, the Indonesian football public was enlivened by the issue of the '2 S' figure who controlled and had a major influence on the Garuda Squad.
The discourse was thrown by Semen Padang's adviser and Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Andre Rosiade. According to him, the two figures have more influence than the manager and chairman of the National Team, Sumardji.
"Indonesian supporters know it's only Pak Sumardji. However, he is not the real commander. The information I got from the locals (insiders) at PSSI," said Andre Rosiade, quoted on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Andre further said these two people were in control of naturalization players. One of them is a woman and the other comes from Morocco.

"So, even though Mr. Sumardji is an Exco (Executive Committee) of PSSI, the Chairman of BTN, even the Manager of the Indonesian National Team, but day to day, the Indonesian national team is quasi- 2 S'."
"One woman from Indonesia, one Moroccan. These two S are the ones who control the Indonesian national team," he said again.
Meanwhile, Andre said Sumardji missed when two Indonesian national team players, Jay Idzes and Maarten Paes, were on podcasts during the 2026 World Cup Qualification Fourth Round.
The Haye Way Podcast (owned by Thom Haye) was clearly criticized for being carried out ahead of the match against Iraq. However, said Andre, this permission from the figure of '2 S' made the podcast still run.
"In fact, yesterday's podcast went viral before competing against Iraq, it was with the '2 S' permit, without Pak Sumardji's knowledge," said Andre.
