Alarice Ready To Debut In The 2025 Gymnastics World Championship

JAKARTA A young gymnast, Alarice Mallica Vilobianne, is well prepared to face the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, which is her debut appearance at that level.

The 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Championships World Gymnastics Championships 2025 will take place at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta, on October 19-25, 2025.

Allarice said that he had been preparing himself for a long time so that mentally and physically he was completely mature and was ready to participate in this important event.

"For special training, maybe in the floor gymnastics number because you could say it was one of my best numbers, where I was most confident," said the 17-year-old gymnast.

Alarice is a team gold medalist and silver for the floor number at the XXI Aceh-North Sumatra 2024 National Sports Week (PON).

He also previously participated in the Pharaoh's Cup in Cairo, Egypt, last month. In the tournament which took place from 18-21 September 2025, Alarice went home with a gold medal for the floor number.

Allarice admitted that he did not have a high target in his debut appearance, but would try to make the best possible against his competitors in front of his own supporters.

"I will show everyone the best abilities, what I am good at, and the things I can do with the best ability," he said.

Indonesia as the host fielded eight athletes consisting of five sons and three daughters. In the men's sector, there are Abiyu Raffi, Muhammad Aprizal, Satria Tri Wira Yudha, Agung Suci Tantio Akbar, and Joseph Judah Hatoguan.

As for the women's sector, Alarice Mallica Prakoso participated together with Salsabilla Hadi Pamungkas and Larasati Rengganis.
