Venezuela: US Pressure On Caracas Disrupts Global Energy Market
Wakil Presiden Eksekutif sekaligus Menteri Hidrocarbon Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, menyebut kegasaran dan tekanan Amerika Serikat (AS) terhadap Caracas dapat memengaruhi stabilitas pasar energi global.
Speaking at the 2025 Russia Energy Week forum in Moscow, Wednesday, October 15, Rodriguez said the meeting took place amid a situation where energy became a global geopolitical center and aggression was directed at major oil and gas producing countries, including Venezuela.
Over the past eight weeks, we have faced military threats from the United States government that have one main goal, namely seizing Venezuela's large reserves of oil, gas, and resources. The military attack on the country with the largest oil reserves in the world will certainly affect the international energy map and the future of managing this resource," Rodriguez said in a discussion session. the forum was reported by ANTARA from Sputnik-OANA.
In recent weeks, the US military has reportedly repeatedly destroyed ships off the coast of Venezuela suspected of being involved in narcotics trafficking.
