JAKARTA - Sitti Hikmawatty, one of the commissioners of the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) who was widely discussed in February because of his statement that caused controversy. At that time, he stated that if women swim with men, it can result in pregnancy. Indeed, Sitti has already apologized, but a long process is still being carried out for this case. Until the end of April, Sitti had not submitted his resignation. The KPAI was forced to submit a recommendation letter for his dismissal to the President on Thursday, April 23, and it was signed the next day.
