National Police Chief Invites Workers To Support Government Programs
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo invites workers to support President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's government programs.
"I encourage and invite fellow workers to play an active role in government policy programs that support workers," he said at the National Conference at Jababeka Botanical Field, Bekasi, West Java, Wednesday, October 15.
The National Police Chief explained that the government has various pro-people programs in the midst of global conditions that can have an impact on the fate of workers, one of which is related to employment.
"How to strengthen human resources (HR), encourage science, technology, education, including downstreaming and industrialization of various commodities, which of course we hope will open the widest possible employment opportunities," he said.

In addition, continued the National Police Chief, President Prabowo also paid special attention to workers through the wage subsidy assistance program (BSU), an increase in the national minimum wage, an expansion of PPH 21, to the program of 3 million houses.
According to him, these various programs are a tangible manifestation of the government's commitment which is expected to stimulate the investment climate and open up opportunities for creating new jobs.
Therefore, the National Police Chief invites workers to participate in supporting government programs, such as Free Nutrition Food (MBG), People's School, food estate, food self-sufficiency, Red and White Cooperatives, 10,000 Fishermen's Villages, internship programs, direct cash assistance (BLT), to free health checks.
"We are optimistic, through the support of fellow workers, these programs can run. Of course we hope that this can give birth to superior human resources that are competitive and have great benefits for the community," he said.
It is known, as many as 50 thousand workers participated in the National Conference in order to encourage the revision of the Employment Law (UU) to side with workers.
