Analog Devices Launches ADI Power Studio, Power Management Solution For Engineers
JAKARTA Analog Devices officially launched ADI Power Studio, a series of tools to design a power system for engineers. This technology is claimed to be present as a sophisticated modeling.
In addition, ADI Power Studio is said to have the results of efficient analysis through accurate simulations and can recommend components. All of these capabilities are here to simplify the entire power system design process.
These tools are intended for application engineers and advanced power design users, ranging from the initial concept to the measurement and evaluation stage. ADI Power Studio is designed to help engineers design power systems more efficiently and reliably.
This launch includes the introduction of two web-based tools that are modernized within the Power Studio. The two new tools are ADI Power Studio Planner and ADI Power Studio Designer.
Modern electronic devices today face challenges with increasingly complex power supplies. This system usually has tens to hundreds of power rails that depend on each other. This complexity often hampers work.
Therefore, Power Studio is here to simplify the workflow of engineers. This system can help engineering teams in making more precise decisions from the early stages of design. These tools can also automate important outputs for technical reporting.

Overall, this series of tools is claimed to help shorten the design cycle, reduce the potential for rework, and accelerate product time to be ready to roll out to market. This increases the efficiency of the product development process.
"By integrating design capabilities at the system level and IC into one product ecosystem, we are helping engineers simplify the power management process and design optimization," said Robert Reay, Vice President and Fellow Power Products Analog Devices.
One of its new tools, ADI Power Studio Planner, is the latest generation web-based tool for power tree planning at the system level. Engineers can create power distribution models, calculate power loss, and analyze system efficiency.
Meanwhile, ADI Power Studio Designer is a web-based tool for power supply design at the integrated circuit (IC) level. These tools provide recommendations for optimized components, performance estimation, and efficiency analysis.
