Jihan's Anxiety Against National Moral Education, Supports Pancasila Laboratory School Innovation
JAKARTA - DPD RI member Jihan Fahira expressed his concern about moral education for the younger generation. As the mother of four children, Jihan Fahira feels the need to encourage activities or innovation so that Pancasila's Moral Education is again present so that the nation's morale can be maintained.
This was conveyed by Jihan to VOI in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang, Saturday, October 11. This concern made Jihan Fahira support the innovation of the Pancasila Laboratory School (SLP) initiated by Dr. Ir. Hamry Gusman Zakaria, MM, from LEMHANAS RI.
One form of support was by visiting SMPN 28, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta recently. At the school, Jihan Fahira directly observed the implementation of SLP innovation.
Jihan assessed that this program is a concrete and relevant character education innovation with the moral challenges of the younger generation today. Jihan Fahira also submitted a certificate of appreciation to the Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, represented by officials from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office, and the Principal of SMPN 28 Jakarta, Ujang Supriana.
The award was given as a form of appreciation for Jakarta's commitment to building character and national insight education.
SLP innovation was academically tested at Brawijaya University on July 11 with Uji Prof. Warsito, Deputy for Coordination for Strengthening National Characters and Hearts of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture RI and Dr. Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi, Deputy Head of BPS RI.
Jihan Fahira hopes that the central government can take a role in implementing SLP innovations throughout Indonesia.
