28 Countries Have Key Tickets To The 2026 World Cup, Including Saudi Arabia

JAKARTA - The 2026 World Cup participants continued to grow as qualifying matches ended on Wednesday, October 15, 2028, in the early hours of the morning. There are already 28 countries that have locked tickets to the final round which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, three representatives from Africa confirmed themselves to qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals. The three teams are South Africa, Ivory Coast, and Senegal.

The three qualified after defeating their respective opponents. South Africa beat Rwanda 3-0, Ivory Coast beat Kenya 3-0, and Senegal won 4-0 over Mauritania.

The success of the three African representatives was followed by two Asian representatives who appeared in the Fourth Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification. Qatar and Saudi Arabia are also successful teams to win tickets to the 2026 World Cup.

Qatar ensured a place after winning 2-1 over the United Arab Emirates. While the goalless draw was enough to get Saudi Arabia to advance to the 2026 World Cup.

The England national team became the 28th team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. This certainty was achieved after the Three Lions won 5-0 when they traveled to Latvia.

With a perfect result of 18 points from six matches in Group K, England's points collection will no longer be pursued by Albania in second place with two matches remaining. England became the first European team to advance to the 2026 World Cup.
