Locally Built, This Is The TKDN Jaecool J5 EV
JAKARTA - Jaecoo Indonesia has one pure electric car ammunition, namely J5 EV, which has opened an order during the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) exhibition, some time ago.
Interestingly, the electric car, the strong challenger BYD Atto 3, has been assembled locally in Indonesia, more precisely at the PT Handal Indonesia Motor Bekasi facility, West Java. This assurance was revealed by Jaecool Indonesia Head of Product Ryan Ferdiean Tirto.
"So, the cars that we test drive are already CKD in Handal Bekasi. The local content is 40 percent," he said, when met in the Bogor area, West Java, Tuesday, October 14.
Furthermore, the man who is familiarly called Ryan said that even though he was already a CKD, he did not sacrifice good quality in terms of features, batteries and drivers.
"The adjustment does exist a little with features, but like batteries, the driving is the same. Actually, it's not more than just added. Like air conditioning, it's now in the second row," he added.
