Kickboxing SEA Games 2025 No Indonesia Mainstay Number
JAKARTA Three mainstay Indonesian numbers in kickboxing (sports) will not be competed in the 2025 SEA Games at the end of this year.
Chairman of the Central Board of Kick Boxing Indonesia (PP KBI), Nantino, said that in this year's edition, kickboxing only competed for eight gold medals in four numbers.
"The three gold medals (from Cambodia) yesterday were not competed in Thailand," he said at the kickboxing national training center (pelatnas) on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
The three missing numbers are men's 63 kg kick light (gold was obtained by Abdul Aziz Calim), women's 55 kg kick light (gold was obtained by Diandra Aiesta Pieter), men's 54 kg full contact (gold was obtained by Toni Kristian Hutapea).

As the host of the 2025 SEA Games, Thailand will only play four numbers in kickboxing, namely point fighting, low kick, K1, and full contact.
However, Indonesia still has a high target of taking all eight gold medals up for grabs at the biennial multi-pronged sporting event.
The President of the Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia), Raja Sapta Oktohari, encouraged the Indonesian kickboxing team to continue to maintain the fighting spirit against the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.
"In the last 2023 SEA Games, three gold, four silver, and five bronze. Now the answer (of the athletes) has eight gold. This is the spirit," said Raja Sapta Oktohari.
At the 2025 SEA Games, the Indonesian kickboxing team fielded five female athletes and four men who will compete in K1, point fighting, low kick, and full contact.
The 2025 SEA Games in Thailand will take place on 9-20 December 2025. A total of 50 sports and 574 match numbers are contested.
