Having Fun Hanging Out In Cafes, Fugitive Fraud Cases Arrested By Prosecutors
Prosecutor of the Tulungagung District Attorney (Kejari) arrested a convicted fraud case, Lilik Suciati (49), while hanging out at a cafe on Jalan Adi Sucipto, Tulungagung, East Java.
The woman from Panjerejo Village, Rejotangan District, did not expect the presence of the prosecutor's office officer who came to pick her up to serve her sentence for a car fraud case that has permanent legal force or inkracht.
The execution took place quite tough. Lilik was involved in an argument with the prosecutor who wanted to wear a yellow prison vest.
However, after the persuasive process, the officers finally managed to lead the convict to the prisoner's car to be taken to Tulungagung Class IIB Prison.
"We summoned the person concerned before but he was not present. As soon as we received information on his whereabouts, the team immediately moved to carry out the execution," said Head of Intelligence at the Tulungagung Attorney General's Office, Amri Rahmanto Sayekti, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 14.
He explained that the execution was carried out based on the cassation decision of the Supreme Court (MA) Number 1189 K/PID/2025 dated August 6, 2025, which found Lilik guilty of violating Article 378 of the Criminal Code regarding fraud and sentenced him to 1 year and 6 months in prison.
According to Amri, the execution was a priority for the Tulungagung Kejari because the convict was previously known to have traveled abroad, so it was feared that he would run away.
"We ensure that the court's decision is actually carried out," he asserted.
This fraud case began in May 2023. Lilik is known to have used the name of his driver, Komarudin, to apply for a car loan through the Mandiri Finance financing company.
With an advance from Lilik, Komarudin bought Suzuki Ertiga Sporty, which was then handed over to his employer.
Komarudin was originally promised that he would still be employed as a private driver and given additional work in the construction of the fence of Lilik's house.

However, all these promises were never fulfilled. The car installments were not paid, until the leasing party asked Komarudin.
Feeling aggrieved, Komarudin reported Lilik's actions to the police. The Public Prosecutor of the Tulungagung Kejari then demanded a sentence of three years in prison.
The Tulungagung District Court sentenced him to two years, and after the appeal, the High Court sentenced him to 1 year and 6 months in prison, which was later upheld by the Supreme Court.
