Prabowo Receives Patriot Bond Report From Danantara CEO, Reaches IDR 50 Trillion

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto in a limited meeting received a report from the Minister of Investment who is also the CEO of Danantara Rosan P. Roeslani regarding the realization of the sale of patriot bonds (patriot bond) which has crossed the figure above Rp50 trillion.

Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi explained that President Prabowo immediately held a limited meeting (ratas) with several ministers upon arrival in Jakarta after completing a visit in Sharm el-Sheikh City, Red Sea, Egypt, Monday (13/10).

"He received a report from the Minister of Investment, Mr. Rosan, regarding the realization of our investment, including the realization of our bond-patriot. The realization is in accordance with the target. The figure is above IDR 50 trillion," said Prasetyo as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 14.

In the same limited meeting, Pras, Prasetyo's nickname, continued the Minister of Investment, also reported an investment plan to finance the construction of waste power plants (PLTSa) in 34 districts and cities. "This is ready to be built at 10 points, including in Bantar Gebang. That was reported by Mr. Rosan as Minister of Investment," said Pras.

In the limited meeting, other ministers also met the President and reported their performance, including the Minister of Youth and Sports Erick Thohir, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Mendiktisaintek) Brian Yuliarto.

President Prabowo in the limited meeting then ordered the Minister of Education and Technology Brian Yuliarto to prepare Indonesia's superior human resources (HR) in order to accelerate downstreaming in various fields.

"Mr. President has assigned him (Mendiktisaintek) in the context of developing our human resources, in the context of preparing for downstreaming, in the context of preparing for comedians from several large programs from the government in the plantation sector, in the marine sector, which of course requires human resources, the President has specifically assigned the Minister of Education and Technology to prepare these human resources," said Pras.

Meanwhile, from Menpora Erick Thohir, the President received an apology because the Indonesian Football National Team had not been able to compete in the World Cup.

"The Minister of Youth and Sports reports to the President and at the same time apologizes that our national team has not succeeded in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The President certainly personally feels it is difficult to accept the fact that we have not managed to qualify, but as Heads of State, Heads of Government, also conveyed that for let's try again. There are two big events that we face, the Asian Cup in 2027 and the 2028 Olympics," said Prasetyo Hadi.
