Collaboration With Local Modifiers, Toyota Achieves This Award At IMX 2025

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Modification & Lifestyles Expo (IMX) 2025 exhibition was successful, and offered a variety of very attractive modification options or references, including from various manufacturers who took part.

As Toyota did, even the Japanese brand won an award emapt as well as from the prestigious event.

The National Modicifier & Aftermarket Association (NMAA) as the organizer of the 2025 IMX is supported by the Ministry of Industry to see Toyota's seriousness and contribution to the world of local modification consistently and sustainably, having a significant positive impact on the automotive and lifestyle world.

Marketing Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) Jap Ernando Demily, expressed his gratitude to NMAA and the Ministry of Industry for the award given to Hilux Rangga, Toyota booth, and Toyota modified car at the 2025 IMX event.

"As one of the main players in building a vehicle modification culture in Indonesia, hopefully our contribution will get bigger and inspire more fans to modify four-wheeled vehicles," he said, in an official statement received, Tuesday, October 14.

Toyota carries three themes at the First IMX 2025 Motorsport event featuring the role of Toyota in the racing event, Heritage which shows the history of Toyota's journey in the world of modification, and Culture which shows the role of Toyota in shaping a national modification culture. The concept is illustrated in booth and car designs on display so that it gets an award as the Most Excellence Booth Award - Car Maker.

Not only that, there is also Hilux Rangga, this multipurpose commercial car, indeed in a very friendly design, converted to have high utility, both for business, public service, and lifestyle. The presence of the Hilux Rangga Race Car created by Fitra Eri and NMAA is proof that this car can be modified into whatever the needs of its owner, even without reducing its functionality as a commercial car. Seeing this great contribution, IMX 2025 gave the Car Maker Industry Impact Product' award to Hilux Rangga.

On the same occasion, GR Yaris "Mad Taxi" composed by Mad Garage as a member of the Toyota Owners Club (TOC), received 2 awards at once, namely NMAA Top 20 and NMAA Ultimate Top 5 Stance Award. Both titles appreciate local modifiers in remaking Toyota cars, especially GR Family.

However, GR not only records various achievements in the racing world, but also offers a wide selection of attractive products for automotive lovers, as well as strengthens a modified culture that has deeply rooted in Indonesia from the start.
