Prabowo's Real Commitment Welcome Supports Palestine, 35,000 Baznas Assistance Packages Arrive In Gaza
JAKARTA - A total of 35,000 packages of humanitarian assistance from the Indonesian people distributed by the Indonesian National Zakat Agency (Baznas) have finally succeeded in entering Gaza, Palestine. This assistance was held for a long time at the border of Rafah, Egypt.
"Alhamdulillah, finally the humanitarian assistance of the Indonesian people mandated through Baznas can enter Gaza. After being detained at the border for a long time, these packages have entered the Gaza region to be distributed to our brothers and sisters there," said Chairman of the Indonesian Baznas Noor Achmad, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Noor welcomed a ceasefire that provided room for the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza. He is grateful that this moment is an opportunity for various aids, including from Indonesia, to reach the Palestinian people again.
Noor emphasized that the momentum of this ceasefire must be utilized optimally to strengthen humanitarian action.

"Baznas will continue to do everything possible as long as access is still open. This ceasefire is an opportunity to increase concern, to continue to help our brothers and sisters in Palestine who are still in difficult conditions," he said.
Furthermore, Noor emphasized that Baznas' strong commitment in helping the Palestinian people is in line with President Prabowo's commitment to the UN General Assembly Session which affirms full support for Palestinian independence.
He also invited the Indonesian people to continue to ignite empathy and solidarity for the Palestinian people.
"Hopefully this aid that has entered Gaza can ease the burden on our brothers and sisters there, and strengthen their enthusiasm to continue to survive in difficult conditions," said Noor Achmad.
