28 Schools Entered MBG Program In Blora, Serving 2,515 Students

BLORA - The Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) for Free Nutrition Food (MBG) of the Blora Police, Central Java, has started operating and serves 2,515 beneficiaries from various levels of education.

Head of SPPG Blora Police Denny Daniswara revealed that the kitchen, which is located in the Blora Police Headquarters complex, has been officially operational since Friday (10/10) and distributed food to 28 schools in the surrounding area.

"We have been operating since last Friday targeting 28 schools from PAUD, Kindergarten to vocational schools. In total there are 2.515 beneficiaries," said Denny, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday. October 14, 2025.

Every day, the kitchen prepares around 1,400 large portions and 1,100 small portions. Denny said the first period program will run for two weeks and it is possible that the number of recipients will increase in the next period.

Involve 50 Volunteers And Pockets Of Health Service Certification

In its operations, the Blora Police SPPG kitchen involved around 50 volunteers who worked from morning to noon.

"It consists of 47 volunteers who focus on the kitchen and operations, as well as 3 other people for administrative affairs and other supporters," said Denny.

Denny explained that all the menus presented had been adjusted to technical instructions (juknis) from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), both in terms of nutrition and food safety.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs that we share is in accordance with standards. For Monday (13/10), for example, there are cows, carrots, fried tofu, and fresh fruit. We distribute them from morning to noon," he said.

The Blora Police SPPG kitchen has also met the licensing provisions. "Currently, our kitchen has pocketed a Higiene Sanitation Letter (SLHS) from the Blora Health Office. Environmental Health Inspection (IKL) is scheduled for tomorrow," said Denny.

National Strategic Program Support

Blora Police Chief AKBP Wawan Andi Susanto emphasized that the existence of the SPPG kitchen is part of an effort to support President Prabowo Subianto's national strategic program in accelerating the fulfillment of the nutrition of the nation's children.

"This SPPG diet is a central service unit tasked with preparing, cooking, and distributing nutritious food according to the standards set by BGN," said the Police Chief.

The police chief added that the Blora Police SPPG kitchen was part of the Central Java Police initiative which formed 26 SPPG kitchens in all provinces.

"This is a form of synergy between the police and the government in realizing a healthy and productive society," he concluded.
