Investigation Of Fire Cases At Kemanggisan Gas Station Stopped, Victims And Damai Gas Stations
JAKARTA - The police have stopped investigating the burning of an oil fuel tanker (BBM) at the Kemanggisan Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU), Palmerah, West Jakarta on Saturday, October 11, early in the morning.
"The reporter, the owner of the car, did not continue the police report because he finally mediated with the gas station. We cannot continue the investigation because he does not want to make a report," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Arfan Sipayung, quoting ANTARA, Monday, October 13.
Apart from the fact that the car owner did not make a police report, the investigation was also stopped because there were no victims from the community.
"There were no victims, no residents were affected. So, we didn't go there. There was only business between the car owner and the gas station. We couldn't have concluded for ourselves (the cause of the car caught fire)," said Arfan.
Arfan also emphasized that the burning car did not belong to Pertamina, but belonged to a third party (the provider).
