Indonesia Represented By 8 Athletes In The 2025 Artistic Gymnastics World Championship

JAKARTA Indonesia as the host will certainly field eight athletes in the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships or 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2025.

The prestigious event is scheduled to take place from 19-25 October 2025 at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta. More than 70 countries will take part.

The Executive Board of the Indonesian Gymnastics Association (PB Persani) in an official statement received confirmed that eight athletes would compete in this single event.

Head of the Development and Achievement Division (Head of Binpres) PB Persani, Hesti Diwayanti, said that the selection of athletes was carried out objectively based on the performance data of each athlete, their physical condition, and level of readiness.

"The athletes that will appear are the result of a comprehensive review and collective decisions from various fields," he said.

The eight athletes consisted of five sons and three daughters. In the men's sector, there are Abiyu Raffi, Muhammad Aprizal, Satria Tri Wira Yudha, Agung Suci Tantio Akbar, and Joseph Judah Hatoguan.

As for the women's sector, Indonesia will be strengthened by Alarice Mallica Prakoso, Salsabilla Hadi Pamungkas, and Larasati Rengganis.

In the final composition, there are adjustments in the Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) sector with Larasati Rengganis replacing Ameera Rahmajanni Hariadi.

Meanwhile, at the end of last week, PB Persani had confirmed that this event would not be attended by the Israeli delegation. The Indonesian government decided not to be able to issue visas for athletes from the country.
