Minister Nusron's Message To UIN KKN Students Gus Dur: His Intention To Take Care Of Humans
PEKALONGAN - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / Land Agency (ATR / BPN) together with the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) appointed UIN Kiai Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) as one of the benchmarking for the implementation of real work lectures (KKN) in the land sector this year.
The plan is that there will be 500 students from the campus who will conduct real work lectures (KKN) in the land sector.
"If later you take care of the land, the nawaitu (intentions) must take care of themselves and take care of mankind. Because actually what you are dealing with is where we come from and where we will return later is land," said the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Nusron Wahid at UIN Gus Dur, Pekalongan, Central Java, Monday, October 13.
According to Nusron, when students are used to taking care of land matters, in the future they can be involved in the government to help complete land parcels.
"Our first hope is that if students are used to managing waqf land and land, if the ATR/BPN (Ministry) opens job vacancies, these vacancies can be entered by the thematic KKN graduates," he said.
"The number two, we hope that later if these students graduate to become sujana scholars. The undergraduate is a scholar who not only boasts about the toga used at graduation, but the sujana undergraduate is an applicative scholar, he can go to the community, help with populist affairs, help with community affairs and help state and national affairs," he continued.
On the same occasion, UIN Chancellor Kiai Abdurrahman Wahid Zaenal Mustakim targets 2,093 waqf certificate fields to be completed for two months by only one campus.
"Yesterday for three days, this student has been given a briefing. Therefore, the expected output is 2,093 plots of land, all of which can be certified properly and also accounted for," he explained.

Targetnya, dalam tiga tahun (2026-2028), semua sertifikat tempat ibadah, masjid, musala, madrasah, makam, bisa rampung.

If the model is successfully applied to 50 UINs throughout Indonesia, it is estimated that 100,000 waqf certificates can be completed every year.
The target is, in three years (2026-2028), all certificates of places of worship, mosques, prayer rooms, madrasas, tombs, can be completed.
