Feeling Defamed, Chairman Of Commission XII Of The DPR Reports Social Media Accounts At The Babel Police
PANGKALPINANG - Chairman of Commission XII DPR Bambang Patijaya reported that social media accounts were suspected of spreading slander against him to the Bangka Belitung Islands Police, so that the perpetrators of the spread of slander could be legally processed.
"I am taking this legal step, so that it becomes a lesson for those who spread false, hoax, or slander information," said Bambang Patijaya in Pangkalpinang, Monday, October 13, as reported by ANTARA.
He emphasized that with the alleged spread of slander that harmed him at the Bangka Belitung Islands Police, there was no more room to apologize to those who spread slander through the tikTok account.
"I think this has attacked personal honor, no longer in the form of criticism of the DPR's performance. So I think it has exceeded the limits," he said.
He said this report stemmed from accusations on social media that called Bambang Patijaya the mastermind behind the mass action of miners which led to anarchism at PT Timah on Monday (6/10).
"There is an account called Raden Bambang that I reported. This is the first stage, later there will be another account that I will complain about after the files are collected," he said.
