KPK Find Out Email Conversations Related To LNG Procurement At Pertamina

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that there was a conversation via electronic mail or e-mail related to the procurement of liquid natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina (Persero) which ended up being corrupted.

The deepening was carried out through Moch. Ardhy Windhy Saputra as the former Junior Analyst I Messaging and Collaboration PT Pertamina.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said Ardhy was questioned today, Monday, October 13. Requests for information were made at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"Witnesses were confirmed regarding conversations via email related to the procurement of LNG," Budi told reporters in a written statement.

Actually, investigators will also examine another witness, namely Bambang Tugiono, the former Manager of Risk Management of the Directorate of Gas of PT Pertamina. However, Budi said, there was confirmation of the absence submitted.

"Witnesses were not present and asked for a reschedule," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK Power Pertamina 2013-2014, Yenni Andayani and Hari Karyulianto, who are the Directors of Gas Pertamina 2012-2014 on 31 July. They are suspects in alleged corruption in the procurement of liquid natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina (Persero).

Both of them became suspects after the KPK developed a case that initially ensnared the former President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Karen Agustiawan.

In this case, Yenni and Hari have made the state lose up to 113,839,186.60 US dollars. They are suspected of giving LNG purchase approval without any procurement guidelines, granting principle permits without being supported by the basis of justification, and technical and economic analysis.

In addition, the imported LNG has never entered Indonesia until now. The process is also without a general meeting of shareholders (GMS) or commissioners.

As a result of his actions, these two Karen's men are suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 of the Criminal Code.
