Minister Of Manpower: BSU Phase II No Directives Yet

JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, gave a signal that the Wage Subsidy Assistance Program (BSU) would not continue in 2025. According to him, until now he has not received any direction from President Prabowo Subianto regarding the continuation of this program.

"Until now there has been no specific directive or policy related to BSU phase II," Yassierli said, Monday, October 13.

On the same occasion Yassierli also shared news in online media regarding the October BSU disbursement. According to him, until now there has been no further BSU.

"So I also saw that there was a media post, a BSU check in October, it hasn't been there yet. So maybe it can be assumed that doesn't exist," he continued.

For information, the amount of BSU set by the government is IDR 600 thousand for private/labor employees with a salary below IDR 3.5 million. The 2025 BSU funds will later be transferred directly to the account of the prospective recipient and through PT Pos Indonesia.

The provision of BSU is contained in the Minister of Manpower Regulation (Permenaker) No. 5 of 2025 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower No. 10 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for Providing Government Assistance in the Form of Salary/Wage Subsidies for Workers/Laborers.
