Mac Leaks Row Release Schedule, Apple Ready To Release MacBook Pro M5 At The End Of 2025
JAKARTA One of the sources managed to find out the launch timeline for rows of Mac devices this year until next year. This leak is known thanks to the development of macOS Tahoe and its testing.
Reporting from Apple Insider, the first Mac expected to have a hardware code J704. This code refers to the basic model MacBook Pro M5. The model is being tested with a version 26.0.2 macOS Tahoe variant focused on hardware.
The discovery of the J704 code is supported by the increasingly limited supply of the MacBook Pro M4 on the Apple Store. This indicates that the new model is being developed. The leak of the MacBook Pro model number that has not been released by the FCC also strengthens this possibility.
That way, the standard version of the MacBook Pro M5 is expected to come at the end of 2025. Meanwhile, early next year looks like it will be a much more interesting period for Mac fans. The reason is, MacBook Air M5 will be present.
This MacBook is visible with J813 and J815 codes and is expected to come in 13 inches and 15 inches, just like today's M4 models. However, both devices will come with improved performance.
This laptop is expected to be launched simultaneously with the release of macOS 26.2 in early 2026. After the Air model, Apple will present high-end Macs, namely the MacBook Pro M5 Pro and M5 Max. Both variants will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes.
