Ministry Of Manpower Opens National Internship Program Registration For 80,000 Participants

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower announced that the 2025 National Internship Program will continue until phase II for 80,000 participants.

Minister of Manpower Yassierli said, in the implementation of the first batch of the National Internship Program, the government had set a quota for 20,000 interns.

This number will continue to be increased along with the opening of the second batch of 80,000 participants by the end of 2025. The second batch will start on November 17, 2025.

"The directive from the President (Prabowo) this year is expected to reach up to 100,000 interns," Yassierli told reporters at his office, Monday, October 13.

He added, based on data from the Ministry of Manpower, until 10:00 WIB, October 13, 2025, it was recorded that 1,147 companies had opened internship vacancies through the Manganghub Application. Meanwhile, the number of registrants has reached 104,711 participants.

On the other hand, Yassierli has also issued a Ministerial Circular (SE) submitted through regional heads so that more companies participate in the National Internship Program.

"We are targeting 100,000 internship vacancies to be available by the end of 2025. Therefore, we invite the entire business world to participate in opening internship opportunities for the younger generation of Indonesia," he explained.

Yassierli said that his party is committed to continuing this program in 2026.

In addition to Manganghub, the Ministry of Manpower also provides Career Humb Applications on platforms Ready to Work for the general public to find permanent work.

Currently, there are 200,000 active job vacancies, and the Ministry of Manpower is consolidating vacancies from various national private work portals.

"We are targeting more than 1 million job vacancies to be available, and this is not an internship vacancy," said the Minister of Manpower.
