Solok Regency Government Lifts Tourism Potential Through Festival Five Lakes 2025

JAKARTA - The Five Lake Festival was held by the Solok Regency Tourism Office, West Sumatra to introduce the potential of natural tourism and local culture to the wider community, said Solok Regent Jon Firman Pandu.

"This festival is not only an entertainment event, but also an important momentum to introduce the natural and cultural tourism potential of Solok Regency to the wider community," he said in Solok, Sunday.

In addition, he said, strengthening cultural identity, increasing the economy of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as well as communities in Solok Regency.

He stated that he was proud of the holding of the Five Lake Festival which was one of the leading agendas of tourism in Solok Regency.

He hopes that this activity will continue to develop and become a tourist magnet that is able to improve people's welfare.

He also gave awards to the committee, art actors, and all the people who have participated in the success of the 2025 Lake Five Festival series.

Various activities were displayed, including traditional arts, musical dramas, national artist performances, and announcements of competition winners during festivals.

"The festival, which has been held for several days, features various arts, culture, and creative economy exhibitions from all villages around five lakes in Solok Regency," he said.

Thousands of people seemed enthusiastic about crowding the location of the event to witness the excitement of the Five Lake Festival.

In addition, various superior products are marketed by MSME actors during festivals, including souvenirs, horticultural plants produced by millennial farmers, clothing, and regional specialties.

The Solok Regency Government hopes that the five Lake Festival can continue to be an annual agenda that strengthens the synergy between the government, tourism actors, and the community in developing the leading tourism sector in the area.

Festival Lima Danau di Kabupaten Solok juga telah masuk dalam Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN). Festival ini bahkan telah menjadi bagian dari KEN selama beberapa tahun, termasuk pada 2024 dan 2025.
