Coordinating Ministry For IPK Calls Bambu A Sustainable Symbol For ISF 2025
JAKARTA - The Coordinating Ministry for Regional Infrastructure and Development explained that the use of bamboo as the main element in the 2025 Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) means as a symbol of sustainability.
"We chose bamboo because bamboo is a plant that has a fast-growing nature, has a low carbon and multipurpose impact," said Deputy for Basic Infrastructure Coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Regional Infrastructure and Development (Kemenko GPK) Rachmat Kaimuddin as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, October 12.
This trait, continued Rachmat, is in line with the philosophy at the 2025 ISF.
He conveyed, through this visual representation, ISF invites all parties not to stop at ideas and discussions, but to move together to realize real changes for the earth and future generations.
"We want Indonesia and the world to grow rapidly, resiliently and sustainably," he said.
As a natural material that thrives in Indonesian soil, bamboo is known for its ability to grow rapidly without damaging the soil, making it a real symbol of sustainability.
On the other hand, its strong but flexible nature represents toughness, a character that is able to survive and adapt in the midst of various pressures.
