Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Shows Positive Growth Trends In The Third Quarter Of 2025
JAKARTA - Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport managed by PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) recorded positive growth during the period January to September 2025.
Based on traffic data, the total passenger movement reached 18,231,771 people, an increase of 1 percent compared to the same period in 2024 which recorded 17,987,515 passengers.
Of the total, 11,537,703 or 63 percent are passengers on international routes.
Meanwhile, 6,694,068 or 37 percent are domestic passengers. This composition shows that Bali remains the main destination for foreign tourists, while maintaining strong movement in the domestic market.
In terms of flight operations, until the third quarter of 2025 I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport recorded 106,942 aircraft movements, consisting of 58,485 international flights (55 percent) serving 36 foreign cities, and 48,457 domestic flights (45 percent) serving 21 cities in Indonesia.
Compared to the same period last year of 105,979 movements, aviation traffic also grew 1 percent.
In line with the growth of passengers and flights, foreign tourist visits to Bali also show a positive trend.
As of September 2025, 5,460,288 foreign tourist visits were recorded, growing 12 percent compared to the same period in 2024 of 4,887,166 visits.
General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Ahmad Syaugi Shahab explained, in addition to passenger traffic and aircraft which experienced an increase of 1 percent each, positive growth was also reflected in the performance of air cargo.
"In the third quarter, we served 78,000 tons, an increase of 9 percent compared to 2024 which was recorded at 72,000 tons," explained Syaugi.

Sisanya sebanyak 30 persen atau 23.000 ton merupakan kargo yang melayani pengiriman domestik.
