Robert Pattinson Didn't Want Batman To Be Famous
JAKARTA - Actor Robert Pattinson is in the public spotlight because he will play Batman in the film The Batman. The film, which will air in 2021, is the tenth film from the DC Universe. Pattinson's appearance is one of the points awaited by film fans, considering that in recent years, Pattison has played a lot in indie film productions.
Unfortunately, even though he has gained high popularity, Pattinson does not want to get more fans like when he played Edward Cullen in the film Twilight. Twilight became Pattinson's fifth film and made him famous through his role as Edward Cullen. Not a few also pair Pattinson with Kristen Stewart, co-star in the film.
Through an interview session on Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist, Pattinson felt strange about the people's response to the Twilight film. In fact, he hopes that the level of his popularity in The Batman film will not pass the time of his popularity when the Twilight film was released. Because even though 11 years have passed, Pattinson still feels the response he received from the film.
"Now I hope people don't wait where I live," he said.
But on the other hand, Pattinson does not really care if there are people who become fanatical about him. He thought that because it was old and boring, there was no time to think about these things.
Quoted from Buzzfeed, while promoting for the film The Lighthouse, Pattinson also revealed that he was old enough and began to think about treatment. "I need to do some work, or later I need a hip replacement," he said.
In addition to his role as the awaited Batman, Robert Pattinson has also finished filming for two films, Christopher Nolan's Tenet and Antonio Campos' The Devil All The Time. Both of these films will open in 2020.
It seems that viewers will often see Pattinson in the big screen version because for the next two years, he has been productive in carrying out various shooting schedules.
