Ragunan Opens At Night, Satpol PP Establishes Command Post To Supervise Immoral Actions
JAKARTA - Head of DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, Satriadi Gunawan revealed that his party set up a post within the Ragunan Wildlife Park (TMR) area during night operations. Satriadi emphasized that the placement of posts and Satpol PP ranks was carried out to oversee potential violations of security and immoral acts during the Ragunan operation at night.
"If someone does something inappropriate, of course we will take firm action. Ragunan is a public space for all residents, not a place that is misused," Satriadi told reporters, Saturday, October 11.
Satriadi emphasized that his party would not tolerate actions that violate norms. The DKI Provincial Government has also added surveillance cameras or CCTV to improve the security system.
"We want to ensure that this activity takes place safely, in an orderly and enjoyable manner. Officers will carry out surveillance with a humanist and measurable approach," said Satriadi.
For now, Ragunan is open only on Saturdays every week from 18.00 to 22.00 WIB. Visitors can only enter through the North Gate, because the West Gate is not open for night visits. All vehicles are required to park outside the area, and visitors must have a JakCard Card. If you don't have it, visitors can buy at the counter available at the North Gate.

Meanwhile, for visitors who walk or want to exercise, just tap a card at the entrance. Not all areas in Ragunan can be visited by the community. To maintain the safety and comfort of animals, the route to dinal animals or those that are active during the day is closed.
Then, visitors who have arrived from morning to evening and want to continue at night, still have to buy tickets. Because, the price of the night ticket is different from the afternoon ticket.
In addition, not all animals can be visited during night operations. Only four types of animals are opened for night visits, namely small mammals, Sumatran tigers, reptiles (terarium), and hippos.
In addition, visitors can also witness attractions for feeding a number of animals, namely small mammals, hippos, Sumatran tigers, complicated, and reptiles (ular) in the terarium area.
The attraction schedule is carried out at different hours according to the predetermined mechanism.
In addition, Ragunan management also provides operational vehicles in the form of electric cars. The rental rate is IDR 250,000 per hour with a capacity of 5 people with a predetermined route of seeing animals.
