Implementing Long Window, KCIC Adjusts Sunday'saturation Starting 08:00

JAKARTA - PT KCIC ensures THAT telephone services continue to operate with the highest safety and reliability standards through the implementation of long window time every Sunday.

During this period, the first trip from Halim Station, which usually departs at 06.25 WIB, has now started at 08.00 WIB, and from Tegalluar Station, which was previously 06.05 WIB to 07.35 WIB.

The number of trips is also adjusted to 56 trips per day, from the previous 62 trips per day on Monday to Saturday, to provide longer and more comprehensive maintenance time.

General Manager of KCIC Corporate Secretary, Eva Chairunisa, explained that the schedule adjustment was made as part of KCIC's commitment to maintain the reliability and operational safety of the first high-speed train in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

"Whoosh is a high-speed train that relies on advanced technology systems, so the safety aspect cannot be negotiated," he said, quoted on Saturday, October 11.

Through a long window time every Sunday, Eva continued, the KCIC team has additional time to conduct comprehensive and detailed checks on all infrastructure and facilities using high-tech equipment.

"This step is important so that bettersh is always in optimal condition while serving the community," continued Eva.

In operational practice, window time is a time lag used to carry out inspections and maintenance of various operational facilities such as rail lines, signaling systems, upper flow electricity (LAA), bridges, tunnels, drainage, and sound damping.

Routine checks are carried out by a certified technical team every Monday to Saturday at 00.00 a.m. 04.00 a.m. local time, while on Sunday it is extended until 07.00 a.m. local time so that maintenance can be carried out more thoroughly.

Eva added that the schedule adjustment on Sunday also considered the relatively lower passenger occupancy rate in the morning.

"Our evaluation shows that the application of long window time does not have a significant impact on the occupancy or interest of the community. In fact, this policy is a form of KCIC's responsibility to ensure airline services remain safe, reliable, and timely," said Eva.
