Ministry Of Manpower Extends New Graduates' Tenure Registration Period
The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has extended the registration period for companies that want to take part in the fresh graduate program.
The extension until October 15 was given in response to the high enthusiasm of the applicant for the apprenticeship program.
"The Ministry of Manpower is still opening the widest opportunity to participate in the college graduates' apprenticeship program with additional registration time," said Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Sunar Ministry of Manampiar Sinaga, Saturday, October 11.
He explained that the company registration schedule and proposals for the apprenticeship program were carried out on October 1-14, 2025 and continued with the registration of apprenticeship participants until October 15, 2025.
Next, the selection and announcement of apprentices from 16-18 October 2025. Finally, the implementation of the apprenticeship will start from October 20, 2025 to April 19, 2026.
"The selection and announcement were made by a company that opened an internship vacancy. After qualifying, participants will sign an internship agreement with an internship company," said Sunardi.

Sunardi explained that apprenticeship is a government program that aims to provide opportunities for new graduates from universities registered with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, to gain work experience while at the same time supporting the expansion of job opportunities in various industrial sectors.
The cross-sector of apprenticeship includes food and beverages, the creative and digital industry, communication and information, the public sector, the manufacturing industry, tourism, logistics and transportation, agriculture, and other service sectors.
The first stage of the 2025 National Internship program, the Ministry of Manpower provides an initial quota for 20,000 fresh graduates. During the 6 months of apprenticeship, interns will earn pocket money equivalent to the district/city minimum wage (UMK) and Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) for DKI Jakarta every month, and the government will pay it through Himbara banks (BNI, BRI, BTN, Mandiri, BSI).
The program for providing pocket money for interns by the government is the first program to be implemented in Indonesia during the reign of President Prabowo Subianto.
"In addition to pocket money, internship participants will also receive Jamsostek including Work Accident Insurance (JKK) and Death Security (JM), and mentor assistance from internship companies, as well as apprenticeship certificates for participants who complete the full program," said Sunardi.
