Honda CB1000F 2026 Brings Modern Retro Style With The Latest Feature

JAKARTA - Honda officially introduced the 2026 CB1000F, a naked sport motorcycle that combines modern touch with classic nuances in the 1980s-style era. This model is a production version of the concept motorcycle previously introduced at the suzuka 8 Hour event.

Reporting from Visordown, Saturday, October 11, CB1000F is a complement to Honda's major motorcycle lineup with a retro style but still full of today's technology. In its official statement, Honda said the CB1000F was present in three interesting color choices, namely Wolf Silver Metallic with Blue Stripe, Wolf Silver Metallic with Grey Stripe, and Graphite Black.

This model shares a base with a CB1000 Hornet, but the character of the energy and torsion is adjusted to make it more comfortable for road use. Regarding performance, CB1000F relies on a four-cylindrical engine with a capacity of 1,000 cc which produces a peak power of 122 bhp at 9,000 rpm and a torque of 76 lb-ft at 8,000 rpm.

This combination offers the sensation of powered driving without sacrificing comfort. The front suspension uses a USD 41 mm USD SFF-BP Showa which can be set for preload, rebound, and compression, while the back is also equipped with a preload and rebound damping.

For the braking system, this motorbike relies on a four-piston Nissin caliber with a double disk measuring 310 mm in front, as well as a 240 mm disk with a one-piston river on the back. The front tires are 120/70-ZR17 and the back 180/55-ZR17 paired to the aluminum cor rim provides stability when it bulldozes the winding road.

Honda describes CB1000F as a motorcycle with the concept of a Best Balanced Roadster', which is designed to offer medium-class but fixed motors with a distinctive power of large motors.

The CB1000F remains with a large motor taste. And with the decade of the 80s which now greatly affects clothing, music and style, the CB1000F is very ready for the present," Honda wrote in his official statement.

This motorbike is also equipped with modern technology such as a five-inch TFT instrument panel with full connectivity to the smartphone via the control button on the left handlebar. There are three driving modes available, namely Standard, Sport, and Rain.

Then there are two User modes that can be adjusted according to the driver's preferences. Safety features such as wheelie control and ABS braking systems turn (ABScornering) are also standard.

Although it has been officially announced, Honda has not released the 2026 CB1000F price for the global market. The model is expected to start available at European dealers in early 2026, before following to other markets in Asia.
