Police Hold TKP Processing Of The Murder Of Alfamart Employee Dina Oktaviani In Purwakarta

JAKARTA - The Purwakarta Police Satreskrim conducted a crime scene in the murder and rape case allegedly committed by an Alfamart employee against his co-worker.

The crime scene (TKP) was held at the perpetrator's house, Heryanto (27), in Wanawali Village, Cibatu District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java, because the house was suspected of being the location of the murder and rape of victim Dina Oktaviani (21).

The perpetrator named Heryanto is a colleague of the victim who serves as head of the shop at the Alfamart Rest Area KM 72 Cipularang Toll Road, Purwakarta area.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Purwakarta Police, AKP Uyun Saepul Uyun, said that during the TKP processing, his party found at least six pieces of evidence directly related to the perpetrator's actions.

However, the police are still continuing to investigate, including examining two other people who are suspected of knowing or even helping in the series of events. "Everything is still in the process of being investigated. We also divide the tasks, there are those who focus on examining the first crime scene, the second crime scene, and other series that are still related. For the alleged sexual violence, we are still investigating it further," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 10.

For the evidence found, there were residual sandal burning belonging to the victim, duct tape used to wrap the victim's body, rope, scissors, and a machete. In addition, there were also items belonging to the victim that were burned and removed by the perpetrator.

Previously, the police had also secured evidence belonging to the victim, including a motorbike, a car, and two cellphones.

Uyun said the murder and rape were carried out in the perpetrator's house, to be precise in the living room. From the results of the initial examination, it is known that the victim died as a result of being strangled by the perpetrator.

Meanwhile, the case was previously handled by the Karawang Police after the victim's body on Tuesday (7/10) was found floating in the Citarum River in the Munjul Kaler Hamlet, Curug Village, Klari District, Karawang Regency, West Java.

The case was transferred to the Purwakarta Police, because it turned out that the location of the murder and rape was in the jurisdiction of the Purwakarta Police.

The police from the Karawang Police Satreskrim on Thursday (9/10) announced the arrest of an Alfamart employee for allegedly committing the murder and rape of his co-worker Dina Oktaviani.

Karawang Police Chief, AKBP Fiki Novian Ardiansyah said the murder was revealed after on Tuesday (7/10) a body was found floating in the Citarum River in the Munjul Kaler Hamlet, Curug Village, Klari District, Karawang Regency, West Java.

After an investigation, it turned out that the body found floating in the Citarum River was a woman named Dina Oktaviani.

From the results of the investigation, it was revealed that the victim was allegedly killed by his co-worker, namely Heryanto (27).

The perpetrator was arrested at his workplace at a minimarket located at the KM 72 Rest Area of the Cipularang-Purbaleunyi Toll Road or around Cigelam Village, Babakancikao District, Purwakarta Regency.

"The Sanggabuana Tactical Team of the Karawang Police together with the West Java Police Resmob secured the perpetrator the day after the victim's body was found," he said.

Although an arrest has been made, the case has been transferred to the Purwakarta Police because in accordance with the results of the investigation, the location of the murder took place in the Purwakarta area.
