Bali Provincial Government Designs The Establishment Of A 24-hour Tourist Service Command Post
DENPASAR - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of Bali designed the establishment of an integrated service unit and tourist service posts in all Bali tourist destinations that operate for 24 hours.
This post must be connected to health services, disasters, the police, Satpol PP, Basarnas, and tourism parties. At every tourist destination point there must be emergency services that can be contacted quickly through a special number," said Bali Governor Wayan Koster, Friday, October 10.
"We are also preparing a digital application so that all of these systems can run integrated," he continued at the Meeting of Control and Protection of Tourists and Foreign Citizens in Denpasar.
Koster explained the importance of integrated management in the services and protection of tourists in Bali.
According to him, the potential risks faced by tourists are very diverse, ranging from security disturbances, traffic accidents, illness, to natural disasters.
"We must have a system that ensures the safety and comfort of tourists while in Bali, both in hotels, beaches, mountains, rivers, and on the way from one point to another, everything must be managed in an integrated manner," he said.
Strengthening the protection system through tourist service posts itself is part of an effort to create quality and sustainable Bali tourism.
The Bali Provincial Government believes that if this can be implemented, Bali will be increasingly trusted and respected in the eyes of the world as a tourist area with professional management, superior human resources and modern information technology.
Head of the Bali Tourism Office (Dispar) I Wayan Sumarajaya added that from January to September 2025 the number of foreign tourist visits had reached 5.6 million people.
Tourists from Australia, China, India and England are the top four from the most tourists entering Indonesia through Bali.
Sumarjaya conveyed that the handling of foreigners in Bali was carried out in a balanced manner between protection and law enforcement, but there were still a number of challenges, such as the lack of security staff in tourism businesses, the lack of optimal emergency health facilities, and the lack of cooperation with insurance providers.

Therefore, Dispar Bali ensures that it will strengthen cooperation with health facilities, insurance services, and add tourist service posts in DTW.
"In the future, all DTWs will also be equipped with a real-time weather information system in collaboration with BMKG at 81 tourist attractions," he said.
Meanwhile, based on data, throughout 2025 there have been 1,185 immigration measures and 406 deportations to tourists, besides that, 144 cases were recorded where foreigners became victims, mostly related to accidents and acts of violence.
