Luxury Lifestyle, South Petojo ASN Dismissed From Position
JAKARTA - South Petojo Village Secretary (Sekel) Febriwaldi has been in the public spotlight after the circulation of a number of luxury or hedonis lifestyle photos on social media.
The viral uploads included showing the moment of traveling abroad in 2015'2016 while he was still on duty at the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat).
Then the purchase of motorcycles in 2020, as well as bicycles in 2022.
This behavior is allegedly not in line with the Regional Secretary Circular Letter Number 14/SE/2023 concerning the Implementation of Simple Lifestyles for State Civil Apparatus Employees in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
DKI Jakarta Provincial Inspector, Dhany Sukma said that the person concerned is currently in the process of being investigated.
"We immediately coordinated with the Mayor of Central Jakarta and the City Assistant Inspector to take immediate action. The examination will be carried out to determine the sanctions to be given," said Dhany on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

Febriwaldi is suspected of having committed disciplinary violations as stipulated in Article 3 letters c, d, and f of Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline, as well as Article 2 paragraph (3) letter d and h Governor Regulation Number 8 of 2024 concerning Civil Servant Discipline.
Dhany explained that Febriwaldi had been temporarily dismissed from his position through the South Petojo Village Head Decree Number 42 of 2025.
"We enforce the rules with the principle of prudence and according to procedures. This temporary release is carried out to maintain the integrity of public services while waiting for the results of further investigations," he said.
Dhany hopes that this incident will be a lesson for other ASNs to continue to work professionally and avoid actions that could trigger public outrage.
"We respect the entire ongoing inspection process. In principle, every state civil servant must be an example for the community, both in performance and daily behavior," he said.
