10 Days Not Returning To School Dormitory, Siswi SMK Tidung Island Kidnapped By Men In Boarding Houses
JAKARTA - A teenage girl with the initials NJ (19) was reported not to return to the SMKN 61 Tidung dormitory for 10 days. Then the victim's mother, initials RI (42), reported to the SPKT of the Thousand Islands Police on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
RI learned of the news after the dormitory of SMKN 61 Tidung Island contacted him, and said that NJ had not returned to the dormitory for 10 days.
Then the Thousand Islands Police function picket team immediately moved quickly. The team immediately coordinated with the South Thousand Islands Police to search for the whereabouts of the teenager.
"As soon as the report was received, our members immediately traced the information from the dormitory and the surrounding community. We coordinated with the Sector Police and residents to confirm the whereabouts of the victims," said the Thousand Islands Police Chief, AKBP Argadija Putra when contacted, Friday, October 10, 2025.
It didn't take long for the police to receive instructions that the NJ victim was in the Jalan Sumur Batu area, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Officers then headed to the location with RT devices and local residents.
After checking, NJ was found at the house of a man with the initials AP.
"Alhamdulillah, the victim was found on the same day in a safe condition. We immediately secured him and taken him to the Thousand Islands Police Headquarters at Marina Ancol for further investigation by the Satreskrim PPA Unit," he said.

AKBP Argadija said the success was the result of solid quick work and coordination between officers, schools, and the community.
"We will handle every report from residents quickly and professionally. In this case, good collaboration allows children to be found immediately and return to their parents in a safe condition," he said.
Currently, the victim is undergoing assistance by the Thousand Islands Police Satreskrim PPA Unit to ensure his physical and psychological condition remains stable.
