Israeli Troops Reported To Be Resigning Total From Gaza In 24 Hours
JAKARTA - Israel began to gradually withdraw its troops from the Gaza Strip, Palestine, on Friday and will withdraw completely within 24 hours to an agreed location, according to local media.
The troop withdrawal was part of a plan proposed by US President Donald Trump to end the war in the Palestinian enclave surrounded by Israel.
"In the next 24 hours, the Israeli army will complete its troop withdrawal from several areas in the Gaza Strip to the yellow line, as agreed in Trump's plan between Israel and Hamas," Channel 12 reported.
The Israeli television station said troops were expected to retreat to the east from Rafah and Khan Yunis in the south as well as from northern Gaza to approaching the border with Israel.
