DANA And Ant International Present Ocean Buddy, Save The Sea Only Through The Application
JAKARTA - DANA and Ant International, collaborate with Indonesia's Conservation, launched Ocean Buddy, an interactive mini program in the DANA application.
Inspired by Ant Forest, a global pioneer in digital-based environmental initiatives, Ocean Buddy's initiative is designed to invite 200 million registered users in Indonesia to participate in protecting the sea, especially the protection of whale sharks on the southern coast of Java.
"Now, it's time for the fintech industry to also play an active role in presenting technology that can support sustainability," said CEO & Co-Founder of DANA Indonesia, Vince Iswara, in a statement on Friday, October 10.
Through the cumulative score rating (EXP) and Impact Coins systems, daily digital activities of DANA users will be converted into a real contribution to conservation projects, such as stranded marine mammal emergency response training and whale shark habitat protection.
EXP serves as a lifelong accumulation score that determines the position on the leaderboard, while Impact Coins can be donated and obtained through various activities in the app such as playing mini games cleaning the sea, answering quizzes, and doing daily checks.
This project is also the latest collaboration under the Sirius Program, a global collaboration platform that brings together 13 world digital wallet leaders, to present an inclusive and easily accessible sustainability action through digital innovation.
