Toyota Segarkan Fortuner Dengan Leader Edition, Tampil Lebih Tegah Dan Modern

JAKARTA - Toyota India (Toyota Kirloskar Motor) officially launched Fortuner Leader Edition, this edition adds some additional sports details and accessories so that the decade-old SUV will feel fresh and competitive.

Quoting from the Carscoops page, Friday, October 10, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, has decided to continue this edition following last year's version which received an extraordinary welcome.

Toyota Sales Business Vice President Kirloskar Motor Varinder Wadhwa, said at Toyota, Toyota's growing subscriber lifestyle preferences inspired the company to continue to refresh and increase offerings.

"We are grateful for the strong acceptance and extraordinary response to the 2024 Fortuner Leaders Edition, which further strengthens SUV heritage as an icon on Indian roads," he said, quoted from the Rushlane website.

The latest version stands out with a new goal design and a slightly slimmer body kit than the previous model. Front bumpers with chrom splitters, side garnish in line with Fortuner writing, and new rearskirts are also added.

Six-barreled alloy rims were black-plated, while the choice of paint included Attitude Black, Pearl White, Silver Metallic, and Super White, each paired with a black-contrast roof.

Even so, Toyota has made several improvements to keep it attractive. There are new layers of two black and red maroons throughout the seat and door panels, glowing abrasions, and a small aftermarket-style tire pressure monitoring screen perched at the bottom of the windshield.

This special edition is available exclusively in the RWD version, with a standard 2.8 liter turbodiesel engine that produces 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and a 500 Nm torque. Buyers have a manual transmission option of six accelerations or an automatic six acceleration.

Toyota will start accepting orders for the Fortuner Leader Edition 2025 in India later this month with the price to be announced when it starts booking.
