Leaked By Elettrica Specifications, Ferrari's First Electric Car With Fierce Power
JAKARTA Ferrari officially showed the first details of its first electric car named Elettrica. This marks the big step of this Italian supercar manufacturer towards a full electrification era without leaving its distinctive character behind.
In the introductions taking place at Ferrari headquarters in Maranello, Italy, the manufacturer features chassis, electric motors, and battery packages to be used at Elettrica. Although not equipped with a body, Ferrari ensures this model will come with a four-door configuration and more than four seats.
Elettrica interior design will be revealed in early 2026, before the world debut will be held in the spring of next year.
According to Ferrari President Director Benedetto Vigna, Elettrica will be able to go up to 310 kilometers per hour with a range of 530 kilometers in one charge.
"This electric car is not a substitute for an internal combustion engine, but an addition to the increasingly diverse Ferrari line," said Vigna, quoted from Drive, Friday, October 10.
Elettrica's chassis and body structure was made using recycled aluminum at 75 percent, while the battery's position was low to maintain the balance and control character of Ferrari cars. This aims to keep the driving sensation emotional even without the sound of conventional engine roars.
Regarding voice character, Ferrari does not choose to digitally imitate the sound of gasoline engines. Instead, they developed a special system that strengthens natural electric powertrain vibrations through accelerometer sensors in the rear axis.
The vibration was then forwarded to the cabin, presenting an acoustic sensation called Ferrari as a typical emotional experience of Maranello. Regarding the kitchen runway, Elettrica is powered by two electric motors with a total output of more than 735 kW (equivalent to 1000+ hp) in "boost" mode.

Acceleration is claimed to be capable of reaching 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds with a maximum speed of 310 km/h. Ferrari pinned a high-voltage 122 kWh battery (880 volts).
This battery is also a structural part of the car and is positioned to lower the center of gravity by up to 80 mm compared to the equivalent gasoline car, increasing the handle and rear cabin space. Ferrari Elettrica will launch in full in the first half of 2026.
In plans for the next five years, Ferrari will divide its portfolio into three categories: full internal, hybrid, and electric combustion engines. According to Vigna, by 2030, about 20 percent of Ferrari's models will be electric, while another 40 percent will consist of conventional hybrids and machines.
