A Month As Minister Of Finance, Purbaya Claims JCI Rises Strongly Thanks To Himself
JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Purbaya Yudhi Sadive said, thanks to him now the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is able to increase.
It is known that Purbaya has served as Minister of Finance for one month to replace Sri Mulyani Indrawati. Purbaya was inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on September 8, 2025.
"I'm actually ashamed to come here, people have welcomed me like an artist. Even though I've only been working for one month, the results haven't been there yet. Later, don't let my friends be disappointed, yes, but there have been results, yes, the JCI has gone up hard," said Purbaya while laughing at the Jakarta Convention Center, Thursday, October 9.
According to Purbaya, since he became Minister of Finance, no one has demonstrated. Currently, Purbaya has seen that there has been optimism from the community.

The Jakarta Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) on Thursday afternoon closed higher, led by stocks in the transportation and logistics sector.
JCI closed up 84.91 points or 1.04 percent to 8,250.94. Meanwhile, the group of 45 leading shares or the LQ45 index rose 15.26 points or 1.94 percent to 800.14.
