Complete Inventory, Bahlil Calls 45,000 People's Wells Ready To Be Managed By Cooperatives To BUMD
JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia revealed that his party had completed the divetarization of 45,000 oil wells.
Later, the well can be managed by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Cooperatives and Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) if it has been legalized by the government.
This was revealed by Bahlil after holding a meeting with the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman, Jambi Governor Al Haris, Deputy Governor of South Sumatra Cik Ujang, Head of SKK Migas Djoko Siswanto, and President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) and Simon Aloysius Mantiri.
Bahlil said, this program is a pro-people program that President Prabowo directed so that it is not only managed by large companies.
"We leave it to the people, to the regions through cooperatives, MSMEs and BUMDs by taking into account the management of safety, both work safety and environmental aspects," he continued.
The chairman of the Golkar Party said that later the oil produced from the people's wells could not only be absorbed by Pertamina. Bahlil opens up opportunities for Cooperation Contract Contract Contractors (KKKS) who are located around the people's well area and the KKKS has processing facilities.
"There should no longer be an issue that this is a door to buy Pertamina. Because now I am very afraid, my hand can go viral, right? Moreover, talk like that," he said.

Bahlil also emphasized that if the MSMEs, cooperatives and BUMDs that will manage these wells will be recommended by the regional head and not appointed directly by the central government.
"It is certain that Jakarta MSMEs are not allowed, they cannot co-operation with Jakarta. We want to make local people masters in their own country. So let the local people take care of it themselves. That's it," said Bahlil.
