Marriage Yakin Film Review: Romantic Comedy About Marriage Dilemma

JAKARTA - The production house Adhya Pictures presents Pritagita Ariaanegara's latest film entitled Yakin Nikah. Although the title is similar to the web series that has aired on YouTube, the story is different from the characters.

The film Yakin Nikah is the return of Enzy Storia on the big screen where she competes with a number of actors and actresses such as Maxime Bouttier, Jourdy Pranata, Tora Sudiro, Ersa Mayori, Amanda Rigby, Agnes Naomi, and so on.

Yakin Niken (Enzy Storia) yang sudah berkencangan dengan Arya (Maxime Bouttier) selama beberapa tahun. Niken dan Arya menjalani kehidupan mereka dengan baik hingga satu hari, Niken mendengar adiknya, Anggi (Amanda Rigby) dilamar kekasihnya, Danny (Arya Vasco).

Niken's mother, Ratna (Ersa Mayori) hopes that Niken will not be 'stepped' by her sister and demand that Niken marry Arya soon. Niken sees Arya keeping busy and rarely taking time for him so Niken keeps the conversation from getting married.

One day, Niken meets Gerry (Jourdy Pranata), his missing ex-girlfriend. Gerry came and apologized for past mistakes. Gerry expressed his desire to marry Niken.

Niken tried to give him the opportunity to have days with Gerry, but at the same time, Arya proposed to Niken.

The film Yakin Nikah has all the characteristics of a romantic comedy film that has not been found for a long time. A humane character, a tough conflict, an interesting story and a satisfying solution.

Our main character, Niken has a close relationship that makes him not the perfect person. However, this actually makes the audience want to support Niken.

The Niken character is also played fun by Enzy Storia. The screened karisma allows viewers to see Enzy's new side, who actually started his career from acting.

Not only that, the dynamics of the character also developed sweetly. The interaction between the Niken family, which is a source of comedy, is also the same as the interaction with Prita (Agnes Naomi), which is thin but still entertaining.

Some of the technicalities may remind viewers of Korean drama stories that choose between the two choices. Interestingly, the execution was also not over-made, making the audience also follow between Gerry or Arya.

More than that, the conflict in the film Yakin Nikah is quite heavy and relevant, which is why someone in their 30s is required to participate in social activities. Self-organize, marriage, and things that are often debated in today's society.
