Having Sex With Her Biological Child For 6 Years, Father In Gowa Arrested

JAKARTA - Gowa Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) Muhammad Aldy Sulaiman confirmed that the perpetrator of child intercourse or inses allegedly committed by his biological father initials AG (45) was revealed and is now being detained to undergo legal proceedings with the threat of severe sanctions.

"We have arrested him. The perpetrator is a man suspected of sexually assaulting his own child," said the Police Chief in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, Thursday, confiscated by Antara.

For articles suspected of Article 18 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2, in conjunction with Article 76D of Law number 35 of 2014 as amended by Law number 23 of 2022 concerning Child Protection.

Juncto Law 17 of 2016 concerning the stipulation of Perppu into Law number 23 of 2022 concerning Child Protection with a penalty of 15 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 5 billion. If a parent does to their child, the penalty is increased by 1/3 from the criminal threat.

Added to Article 6 letter C in conjunction with Article 15 paragraph (1) letters A and G of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence (UU TPKS) which states that sexual violence by their parents is included in the severe category with a maximum threat of 15 years in prison.

The former Head of the Unit (Kanit) for Immoral, Thugism, and Gambling at the Ditreskrimum of the East Java Police stated that the disclosure of the recess case was after receiving the victim's report when reporting to the Gowa Police Women and Children Service Unit (PPA), then the perpetrator was arrested at his home.

"This case was revealed after the victim ventured to report to the Gowa Police with his colleague. The perpetrator AG has been named a suspect and detained in the Gowa Police detention cell," he said.

Dari hasil pemeriksaan oleh penyidik, korban mengalami kekerasan seksual hingga percepatan sejak berusatan 11 tahun. Perbuatan tersebut terus berulang hingga kini korban berusia 17 tahun.

"The perpetrator admitted that he had abused his son since 2016, where the victim was 11 years old at that time. His depraved act was carried out repeatedly until the victim was 17 years old," he said in a slightly irritated tone for his actions.

Kasat Reskrim Gowa Police AKP Bachtiar added that the investigative team was conducting intensive examinations of the perpetrators and victims in order to reveal the entire chronology of prohibited acts by law and religion.

"Investigators are still investigating this case, including the motive and time span of the incident. We will immediately confirm and ask both of them for information so that the information is in sync. For legal and psychological assistance to victims, it has been coordinated with the district and provincial PPA Offices," he said.

When asked, the perpetrator admitted that his actions had been carried out repeatedly to his own daughter since he was 11 years old. Sadly, when his daughter was 17 years old he had the heart to treat the victim next to his sleeping wife.

"I was with him (had sex) next to his sleeping wife. I made a mistake and I was very sorry and didn't know what else to do," he said while bowing down with shame.
