These heavy charges were filed on two multi-layered charges, namely extortion as regulated in the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE) and the Crime of Money Laundering (TPPU).
In a trial held at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday, October 9, the Public Prosecutor stated that Nikita Mirzani was legally and convincingly proven guilty of all charges directed at him. In addition to imprisonment, the prosecutor also demanded that Nikita be fined in large quantities.

The prosecutor also requested that Nikita Mirzani remain detained during the legal process.
